We’re Matthew Spahic & Dominik Rogala. Before founding Löwenmensch, we spent over a decade together building scenery, props, and sculptural elements for film and television across North America. Work judged by how it reads close up and in 4K.

Our work sits at the intersection of modern and classical industries. Dominik came to film from an artisanal heritage — decades in Denmark and Poland, working on behalf of museums and historic sites to restore the irreplaceable. That discipline, where there’s no second original to fall back on, runs through everything we make.
